Three more deaths in Luxembourg, seven more in hospital
Luxembourg crossed the threshold of 60,000 people tested for the virus this weekend
Three more people died as a result of the coronavirus in Luxembourg on Sunday, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 107.
There were 15 new infections on Sunday. One patient left intensive care, while seven more were admitted to hospital.
Over the weekend, Luxembourg crossed the threshold of 60,000 people who had taken a test for the virus since the start of the pandemic, 3,945 of whom were found to have been infected.
Following the partial lifting of the lockdown, the government has shortened the working hours of the Covid-19 helpline with advisors now available from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm.
Over the past weeks, the helpline received over 66,000 calls, with daily peaks ranging from 250 to 1,700 calls.
