Man abandons wife after she gave birth to conjoined twins


A taxi driver in Owerri, named  Anayochukwu Njoku, from Umuakagu, Agbahara Nsu in Ehime Mbano gathering zone ran away and relinquished his wife when he found  that she gave birth to conjoined twins.



Njoku’s wife, Chidinma, was said to have gave birth to the conjoined twins on March 11, 2020, however their sight was not something that Njoku could view.

Lamentably, the conjoined twins, Goodluck and Rejoice Njoku were said to have lost their mom three hours after their conveyance. The predicament of the newborn children was in this manner brought to the consideration of Imo Foundation, the philanthropic organ of the Imo State government, where endeavors are being strengthened to isolate them.

Chief General of the Foundation, Mrs. Beulah Chukwuma, who addressed newsmen while featuring the situation of the kids, said that after the internment of their late mother, the conjoined twins were brought to them.

Chukwuma said separated from the endeavors made by the state government towards the endurance of the twins, the establishment has made portrayals to different associations to help their division. Chukwuma stated, “By and by, we have a family with conjoined twins.

Their mom, Mrs. Chidinma Njoku passed on eleventh March, 2020 three hours in the wake of bringing forth them in a maternity in Umuokoto Nekede in Owerri West Local Government Area.

“Their dad, Mr. Anayochukwu Njoku, was helping his late spouse in her fitting shop to win a living to help their poor group of six preceding the appearance of the conjoined twins, after he lost his employment two years prior as a driver.

“By the unique elegance of God, when the case got to the work area of Governor Hope Uzodimma, he gave a pressing mandate for the twins to be brought to the Foundation for their satisfactory government assistance and endurance.

“So as of now, we are connecting with rapidly complete their medical procedure so they can start to carry on with a superior life. Chukwuma said that regardless of the help from the state government, there was the need to go past government.

“We have to contact associations, people that are open vivacious to go to our guide notwithstanding what the administration is accomplishing for us.”
