English Premier League has confirmed that six players have tested positive for Coronavirus.


"The Premier League can today confirm that, on Sunday 17 May and Monday 18 May, 748 players and club staff were tested for Covid-19," a statement read. "Of these, six have tested positive from three clubs.'' said EPL in a press statement

English Premier League decided not to share the names of the affected players but it was quickly to inform its fans, broadcasters and all other key stakeholders that the six players will undergo very strict health recovery processes which include self-isolate for a period of seven days. 
Coronavirus had forced EPL to take more eight weeks break. The British top league is set to resume is new-normal operations in June but no fans will be allowed at the stadium.
